Silk Road #5 ~ Ya Dan Geological Park

National DunHuang Ya Dan (雅丹)Geological Park of Gansu, which is called "Devil City" is located deep into the desert. About 180km away from the city of DunHuang.

The main body of miraculous Yadan Landform was formed by flood alluviam and lake alluviam of the Cenozoic Era millions years ago.

Yadan is a natural museum of sculpture art. It's also a precious treasure granted to the mankind by the nature, non-reproduced geological heritage.

Look like peacock !

Hi, Lay Hoon! You are right! The rock formation looks like a peacock strutting, pulling his feathers behind him. I really like the pretty spiral that you placed on your journal page. I could get lost in it! :-)
