Stay, Eat, Play and Love in Malacca

In conjunction to the school holiday, DH brought us to Malacca (Melaka) for celebration and the holiday that I longed for.

STAY
As usual, we booked the cozy boutique hotel ~ Courtyard @ Heeren. But due to the school holiday and also weekend, the hotel room was fully booked.

Thus, for our second day stay, we went for Ohana House, another authentic house.

EAT
Other than the famous chicken rice ball and nyonya food for lunch, we visited a quint cafe called 'The Baboon House', they served good burger. And what impressed me was the tranquil interior, painting , repurposed art deco and eco-designed furniture.

(we are not allowed to take photo inside the premises)
But it's really worth to pay a visit, not only for the good food but also for the effort that the owner has put in to make his home more lively.

Hmmm...another one place that we love to hang out for coffee....a tranquil cafe house called Calanthe Art Cafe, they serving specialty coffee drink from 13 states of the Malaysia... each one carry different aroma.

Other than good drink and food offered, I guarantee that your eye will be rolling around to wander the little trinkets around the cafe house.

PLAY & LOVE
A Flea market store located nearby to 1825 Gallery Hotel, right after the prime area near Melaka River where people take the evening river cruise.
(A new place that we discovered in our recent trip to Malacca.)

There is another one spot ~ Must Go on Sunday ~ A sunday morning flea market in the Jalan Lekir, street where the Geographic Cafe house is located.

We are able to dig some old stuff like old disc, books, coins /paper notes etc.
