1. a small hoop containing a horsehair mesh decorated with feathers and beads, believed by American Indians to give its owner good dreams.

Dreamcatchers originated with the Ojibwe people, who wove these magical webs from willow hoops and sinew. The hoop represents the travel of giizis, the sun, through the sky. At night, the hole in the center only lets bawedjige, good dreams, pass. Bawedjigewin, bad dreams, are trapped in the web, and dispelled at the first light of morning.( source : Wikihow)

I'm cleaning my wish list recently, one of the thing that i want to experience from is to make 

a Dream Catcher . 

Just came about to bought a starter kit at Typo, KLCC. 

All the material was included in the kit and I just putting them all up effortless.

Project : Reuse, Recycle & Repurpose A Plain Box

Material :

Plain box ( packaging box for external hard disk)

Modge Podge ( sort of glue to adhere paper, it holds tight and dries clear)

Tissue Papers (somes are come with 3 layers, I used the 1st layer only)

Brush

Way :

(1) Tear the tissue to your desire pattern

(2) Apply a coat of Modge podge on the box.

(3) Place the tissue on the box and lightly apply a thin coat of modge podge (it also serve as protective matte). And it's form a little uneven surface on the box. (the effect that I like)

(4) Repeat and let it dry.

I used the brown large envelopes & security envelopes for the project.

The E N V E L O P E.

I found those used envelopes in my workplace.
The design is simple but interesting and inspiring.
I create a grid collages using those patterns.

Closer look of the patterns.

The pattern of the bottom left (green) was from Japan and bottom right (with grid thread) was from India.
