pool of endless possibilities

Hello dearie, hope you are well there.

One of the windy afternoon...I submerge and swim in the pool, it is not a normal water pool but is a pool of endless possibilities and abundance indeed.

Dear Universe, just to let you know that I'm free here to take up new venture (*wink)

I graciously asked, if you can give me something fun. Universe replied, "Yes. I have something for you. Take it."

And , I have got feedback yesterday. (*fingers crossed*)

Besides, I have also receive few messages from Universe ...after I send out my proposed work. What a comfort !

Here are few of them and it sounds like...

BELIEVE !

"It is hard to convince yourself that you can do something that you don't believe you can do. " (Iyanla Vanzant)

(I'm working on something that I didn't know if I am good at. But I am taking up the challenge)

Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be.

(George Sheehan)

By surrendering to the unknown, we create the space for a deeper knowing to emerge. In the heart of the not knowing, the paths that we are here to walk reveal themselves.

and all of the messages are delivered just-in-time.

Thank you Universe !
I love you.

(What if) Financial Freedom

Being financial freedom and travelling around the world ~ is what most people want. This is also what I want when I was at the age of 25+  :P

For me, I define financial freedom as I have sufficient cash in (passive income) without for me to work for 9 to 5 cubicle-work. Apparently, if I choose to work, the job must be something that interesting and I passionate about. I have abundant life and to live abroad (long stay) in the countries that I like. I am pursuing towards this path...my own version of Financial Freedom.

This lovely couple, Jeremy (Go Curry Cracker) and Winnie (Winnie's Chinese blog) , uses 10 years to build up their investment portfolio and quit their jobs in their 30s. Now, they are living a nomad life, choose to travel the world at this young age (with their 10 months old son). I read their story last year, and guess what, they stopped by Kuala Lumpur in their recent Asia travel trip. I am so grateful that I can meet them in person ! Jeremy and Winnie spared time to meet up with KL fans on Mar 3.

I gained a lot insights from the meet up. Thanks Jeremy and Winnie.

(Read here) How did the the couple does that ?

In short, they saved most of their payroll (70%), maximise their investment portfolio, maintain minimalist lifestyle and no debts (means no house and no car).

Abundance is not about owning material. Abundance is a mindset.

Imaginative Land of Loka Made

Another inspiring local artist ~ FeiGiap of Loka Made
Love the soft pastel colours which made the illustration looks so soft and  it carries 'light'.
The artworks featured the Japanese's Shōjo Manga (少女漫画) kinda style. FeiGiap incorporates old building elements of Penang and Malacca (Melaka) into his illustration, if you can catch one :)

Leonard Combier's Artwork

Love at a first sight of his artwork, so detailed and small characters are catching everyone eyes.
Léonard Combier is a 24 year-old French painter and illustrator living in Berlin.
"My goal here is to amuse the spectator and to take him into my world. I want to make out of each artwork a maze, in which ones like to wander and discover all the nooks and crannies".

See more of his work here.

Inspiration 《文具手帖》

So tempting with the series magazine from Taiwan.
Stationery & Journal 《文具手帖》is one of it. Love the Season 7 which highlights the postcard collection. I am a huge fan of postcard and stamp, a postcrosser since 2009.

I am not the only one who will send a postcard to our own self during the trip :)
It is so good to know that there are others who did the same.

This season's topic reported more about the influence of TN in Taiwan,
I have observed that the Traveller's Notebook (TN) has become a trend
among the youngster of Malaysia. I fancy with Moleskine notebook since 3 years back.
However, all of those journal are very pricey at local (Due to import tax, currency conversion & shipping cost).

John Ho : I Love Tokyo and You !

Recently I bought a book from Borders, IOI City Mall about an Illustrator from Hong Kong ~ John Ho who quit his job and spend a year in Japan pursuing his dream in studies.
I was mesmerized by his passion  in life.
He illustrated his living, studying, even his romance story and every minutes count and
filled with joy and experience.

There are some similarity in Japanese and Chinese character which may vary in meaning.
So grateful that John Ho shared and included the list of the words in this book (the black box in the left)
Every doubt that I had before has solved.
