AJ Week 4 ~ Have fun in scribbles and doodles.

Bold with scribble lines and watercolor.

Traci Bautista posted Art Journaling Daily on her blog. I admire at her 'free' style.

Like the messy and busy writing.

Another Art Journal Every Day posted by another great journaler, Julie Fei-Fan Balzer.

Revolution i make from simple lines.

So, there are no define rules in Art Journaling , but JUST to HAVE FUN !!!

Confidence with no pencil lines

AJ Week 3 ~ Wrapping It (Crusade 47)

This is my favourite departmental paper bag.

I make them into journal book. I recycle the products catalogue as the inner page.
Tuck in all my favourite wrapping paper, cards, envelopes, embellishment & etc...

From the right : beautiful snowman envelope that I received few years back, there is a snowman card in it.

Close up

Quote that i read, found meaningful, record it...

The snowman card on the left.

A very cool catalogue and card I collected during my last trip to Singapore.

A swedish recipe

The blue glitter card that kept in my drawer for 10 years !!

Invitation card from a church to Christmas Eve party held in year 2001.

Evidence of special memory , like what Michelle Ward said.

A coin was send along a X-mas card :)

An envelope, the stamp and postmark....

Blue doodle page

Can't resist with the glossy cards (on the left)

and

The white X-mas card (on the right) was given free from 1-Utama shopping mall in year 2009.

Stocking template from A Fanciful Twist

Toy templates given by another shopping mall ~ Mid Valley for year 2010

I enjoy making those precious scrap into journal rather than 'dust' them into drawer.

Thank you Michelle for this new series prompt for new year !!!

A New Page #10 : Growing Up

I've been following thru Autumn's Blog for A NEW PAGE since September 2010, prompt 1.

I like the way she describe her feeling thru the prompts and brought us to the path of 'Growing'.

I started involve in making art in year 2007, scrabooking some pics of my daughter. Came to know about ATC, altered art, mixed media, collages work, etc.

I 'drown' in Swap-bot (a platform for swapping and exchanging gifts, cards and etc) for awhile.

Then, I came across art journaling (soul journaling) when the time I depressed in my work.

I received healing and encouragement from friends over the world and from that day I hook in blogging and art journaling.

My growing (nor matter pain or gain) path that lead me to what I am today.

making mistakes, and having fun.” Mary Lou Cook
