Crusade No. 38 ~ Grab a tissue

Michell Ward has challenged us to use tissue paper in this Crusade No. 38 ~ GPP Street Team .

So, what i did was ...

Prepared the background layer with facial paper (with mod podge).
Let it dry and put on acrylic colour randomly.

The Title
Gesso the tissue paper ~ and stamp with alpha-stamps.
Distress with ink.

You may feel the after-gesso-tissue like sort of fabric.

I have added the Pearlizing medium to the page to make the page shine.

Lay Hoon, this is gorgeous! Love all the textures, and the colors. Thanks for showing us some of the close-ups, and for explaining your process. You are right - the tissue does feel like fabric once it's painted.

Perfect, Lay Hoon, you have helped to inspire me, now on to the creating. xoxo

I've never used facial tissue before. I must give it a try. I ususally think of tissue paper in art as the gift wrap kind. Loved your experiment here. And the shine is fabulous.
