The fourth of 12 Chinese animal astrological signs, the rabbit largely represents tranquility and calm.
The evidence gather from newspaper & magazine cutting.
According to Chiff.com, Albert Einstein, Leon Trotsky, Frank Sinatra, Pope Benedict XVI, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and Tiger Woods were all born in the Year of the Rabbit.
Today is also the last day (day 15th) of the Chinese New Year celebration.
Chap Goh Mei represents the fifteenth and final day of the Lunar New Year period as celebrated by Chinese migrant communities. The term is from the Hokkien dialect and refers to the fifteenth day of the first month, which is the occasion of the first full moon of the New Year.
In Southeast Asia, however, it coincides with the Chinese Valentine's Day. It is also when young unmarried women gather to toss tangerines into the lake, in a hope that their future spouse will pick it up.

Lay Hoon - what a great theme for your evidence page! Love seeing all the rabbits you have acquired from print to make these pages. I had no idea that the New year celebration lasted fifteeen days and that it ends with the Chinese Valentine's day! I didn't know about the tangerine tossing either! Thanks for sharing more pages with the team!
