Mandalas : Obstacles complete our soul

I spend some minutes observe my finish piece of Mandala.

The combination of several rectangles, triangles, trapezium...represent many obstacles in our lives : good days, bad days.
However, Success is measured by the obstacles overcome and it will complete our soul.

" Remember, success is not measured by heights attained but by obstacles overcome. We're going to pass through many obstacles in our lives: good days, bad days. But the successful person will overcome those obstacles and constantly move forward. ~ Bruce Jenner"

SJ 21 ~ Mandalas ( Continue )

The journal's background is created in previous ABAA's Newsprint challenge.

I prepared the page for the journal of Mandalas ~ symbols and repeating imagery (used as objects for meditation and reflection).

Lotus flowers are amazing and have strong symbolic ties to many Asian religions especially throughout India. Lotus ~ a symbol for awakening to the spiritual reality of life.
