Soul Journaling (Cont) ~ 2

1. Peel off the masking tape. Don't worry if some acrylic paint may peel off too.

2. Colour the white strip with paint / crayon / colour pencil .

Love the tearing effect.

3. Don't throw away the leftover coloured masking tape. We can use it in next page.

Soul Journaling (Cont) ~ 1

First of all, I wish to continue my Soul Journal ~ as a new beginning for us (Soul Journal followers). Look how far we can go about !

I do plan to sporadically to post some challenge to claim back our journal :)

Join me if you wish , or share with me if you have new idea for a new page.

1. Cover you page with text / dictionary / music sheet. Dry gesso them.

2. Using masking tape to cover randomly.
(Masking tape is made with an easy-to-tear thin paper, and fly back and a removable pressure sensitive adhesive. It is used mainly in painting, to mask off areas that should not be painted. The adhesive is the key element to its usefulness, as it allows the tape to be easily removed without leaving residue or damaging the surface to which it is applied.)

3) Paint the entirely page with colours.

4) Try to stick more masking tape on top of the coloured masking tape. And paint them.

You need to get some pictures of models ~ in different dressings (hair, cloths, shoes) . We need to cut out some part of them to using for this page.

I'll come back tomorrow for the next step.

Stressful days

This few days, It's was really stressful for us as 2 of my daughter get sick together.
We've to absent for work yesterday.

This early morning, at 2am, KXin (youngest) caught fever and temperature soar up to 39.1 Celsius .
I'm so glad that my hubby was awake that time. (I'm really can't imagine what will happen if non of us notice about this.)
We do whatever we can to drop the temperature. We force her to drink water, rubbed her body with wet cloth, and put her tablet to bring down the temperature (Luckily, doctor gave us some medicine to put in body if the fever run up high in midnight).
At about 3am, she successfully return her temperature to 38 Celsius.
She' now sleep well in the room.
Hope you getting well fast, my babe.

* Edited
KXin already recover from fever ! Thanks to God and all the prayers.

Project #1 ~ Thank You Card

A small project that I worked on the variety stuff that send from my SBS-5 Sister ~ Sue.

Colour the stamped image with water colour pencil.

Using paper stump to apply Sansodor onto the colour image.

The liquid seem will dilute and blend the colour and make the colour more even.

I wanna to create a frame for the vase of flower.
Dabbed the Tim Holtz ~ Distress Ink to the edge of the frame.

Cut the piece of used magazine paper to smaller square.
Dabbed 2nd layer of distress ink. I choose lighter ink for this layer.

Matted the cardstock with this beautiful patterned paper.
Embossed the swirls.

Here is my finished card .

Sue send me scrapbooking stuff for me to play with, I shall able to do several small project with the supplies.
