Icicle Doll Swap
The above is my year end project ~ Icicle Doll which to be send to Belinda this early morning for the swap.
I sewed the fabric with sequins.
The fabric itself is very unique ~~gather pieces from Indian's sari.
As I don't have any T-shirt transfer sheet which enable the picture to print on fabric nor the heat-press-printed-fabric, so I just stamp on the Chinese character 雯馨 (which is pronounce as 'Wen Xin' ~~~ my daughters nick name and in combine it also means 'happily warmly').
Hope my swap partner will love this.

Submit the above for the Chit Chat #8 Challenge
Using leftover paper to cut the flower's petal shape, edge the petal with distress ink, and arrange them in the circle shape.
Doodling on the edge of the paper and embellish 3 lovely clocks.
The pic #4 : Add in circular journaling (Sorry for the poor lighting)

Where is the world where I'm from .... Taiping, Malaysia
太平(in Mandarin - means peaceful) , is one of the city in Perak.
Taiping also receives some limelight as the wettest town in Peninsular Malaysia.
I manage to upload some photos which i took in my previous trip back to Taiping.
The pictures shown the famous lake garden in Taiping, which I love to hang around during my school time....arrrr...seem like few decades ago.
If I'm not mistaken, the curvy trees is called as Casuarina Tree ( the root goes towards the lake water, thus it's grow curve that way).
Ya....Feel so peace when I step on the ground....and i gonna step on it today.
I'll be away from KL to Taiping (my home town) for few days.
I'll not able to browse internet in few days (no internet connection).
So, see you gals next Monday.
Happy Holiday !

* this entry also posted to GPP (Green Pepper Press) Street Team (thanks to Belinda to send me the link)

"This month make an entry on your blog about where you live. Better yet, make a journal page and share a photo of it. You could tell us about your home, your town, or your country. If you are a transplant like me, you could tell us where you came from, and maybe all the places you've lived. I know this is a global community so it will be fun to see where we are all located."

I'll stick my idea here.
I also stick my list of project here, so that i'll not missed out the submission date.
The 'dress' shape notes pad is bought from flea market @ Atria shopping centre.

The embellishment reminded me about the 2 important date , i.e. Christmas and Valentine .
