quaint
(photo credit ~ Art by Christi)

If one normal day equal to
8 hours in sleep,
8 hours in work,
8 hours for own time

My day equation would be look like
6-7 hours in sleep
13-14 hours in work (including travel time, excluding OT)
3-4 hours for family, blog, art

May is a busier month, I anticipate. But I wish to squeeze sometime for achieving the goal.
The MeetUp , would be a ideal for me not to procrastinate the plan and push me forward.

Goal for May

4) Reschedule the time for blogging, arting and working on etsy.
5) Read an articles a week.
6) Complete the Teesha-Inspired Fabric Journal Cover

Goal for April
1) Create the blog banner / header
(done)
2) Learn & Create blog widget
(plan to do more)
3) Brainstorm some ideas for etsy store
(to write put in words)
4) Editing pictures
(half done)
5) Sidebar labels and links
6) Blog at rate 1 post per day
(keeping at the rate)
7) Make & bind 3 mini books (for swap)

The Secret

secret

Never thought to get this page together,
coincidentally find the word 'secret' from a promotional leaflet and the 'Secret' quote from my desk (which surfed from web sometimes ago).

secret2

All good things are coming to me today
I see beauty all around me
I am grateful to be alive
I live with passion and purpose
I take time to laugh and play together
I am awake, energized & alive
I focus on all good things in life
And give thanks for them
I am at peace and one within everything
I feel the love, the joy, the abundance
I am free to be myself
I am perfection in my life
I am grateful to be ME

Today is the best day of my (and your) life.

Teesha-Inspired Fabric Journal Cover

thread
Inspired by awesome video on Fabric Cover by artist Teesha Moore.
She so kind to share her technique in sewing the pillow-patches-journal cover on her blog.

Let's get start with fabric, needle and threads.......

There is no specified size for my fabric cut (I dun like to measure).

smallpiece2

small piece

Look at the modern-batik-liked fabric I had in my collections.

small piece3

I take my own sweet time to enjoy the sewing while watching movie series.
(Have to negotiate/bargain with my children every night , as they want to watch their Barney series as well. LOL)

What is inside the mysterious packet ??!

Ceramic_4
In the ceramic section, we was given a mysterious packet.

broken
OMG !! We been given a task .... TO RESTORE IT ~!!!

broken1
What I got was the most difficult one in the class...because of the so many little broken pieces and also the plain colour (without any pattern) .

broken_2
First, we used the tape to join the broken piece ...
Actually, the process was fun ... sort like figure out the puzzle

restore pc
Then, we used UHU.

After that, apply the filler ~ modelling paste to the hairline crack.

Me
Yay !! Mission Complete !!
