elegant mansion called Homestead

Last week, I managed to make my first trip to Wawasan Open University in Penang, 

the white mansion used to be called as Homestead by most Penangist.  

This building, also the University belongs to the family of Yeap Chor Ee, a prominent Penang tycoon and philanthropist. The mansion was donated by Yeap's family for education purpose. I happened to choose WOU University to further my studies was after seeing this building. The old building somehow amazes me in somewhere. 

("Towkay" is meant "boss" in Hokkien language)

Inspiration 《文具手帖》

So tempting with the series magazine from Taiwan. 

Stationery & Journal 《文具手帖》is one of it. Love the Season 7 which highlights the postcard collection. I am a huge fan of postcard and stamp, a postcrosser since 2009. 

I am not the only one who will send a postcard to our own self during the trip :)

It is so good to know that there are others who did the same.

This season's topic reported more about the influence of TN in Taiwan,

I have observed that the Traveller's Notebook (TN) has become a trend

among the youngster of Malaysia. I fancy with Moleskine notebook since 3 years back.

   However, all of those journal are very pricey at local (Due to import tax, currency conversion & shipping cost).

7th International Hot Air Balloon Fest in Putrajaya

We are so excited about the yearly fiesta Hot Air Balloon at the Putrajaya. 

It was about half an hour drive from the place I live.

The event is held yearly in March.  

This year highlight is the outrageous shaped balloon Van Gogh. 

This special hot air balloon is to pay tribute to the famed post-impressionist (20th century) European painter.

The iconic buildings are old buildings. 

Appreciate the little surprise at this busy corner and thank you to the artist who contribute to light up the city.

I am so much admired at those who can write well, in structure ways..

I wish I have that power and express my feeling & thoughts, in words :)

I love to try ...

Here, I come .. 

At one time, I attempt to fill up my 'plate' with all sort of activities ~ from things that I want to learn, art, MBA, design activities for children etc. to routine house chores.

Then, I realised that it was impossible with the limited time a day that I can craft out from my full time job. No doubt that I have to spend more times on the roads (include traffic jam).

Thus, I was exhausted and feel so miserable in these few months.

However, seem I still not really sort this complicated things out…but the important points that I would like reminder to self is

"Everything you need..will come to you at perfect time"
