A New Page : Prompt Four

Deep Within

Autumns Antics suggested in Prompt 4, "I would like to suggest that you try, like I have, to sway far, far from that thought process and focus this week's pages on other things deep within your heart."

For me, I chose P A S S I O N

Passion is an intense emotion compelling feeling, enthusiasm, or desire for something.

Passion can be expressed as a feeling of unusual excitement, enthusiasm or compelling emotion towards a subject, idea, person, or object.

Tony Hornecker ~ The Pale Blue Door

I read about the The Pale Blue Door of Tony Hornecker.

The contemporary fairy tale restaurant ~

All the photos credit to Manuel Vazquez. He is such a talented photographer, see how he capture the restaurant lively.

Hornecker had being toying with the idea of designing a restaurant, and with his previous experience.

The British designer has taken his love for art, added some food, and opened a temporary pop-up restaurant -- made with scrap materials scavenged from the streets -- in one of Berlin's central community gardens.

Crusade 44 : In a scrape

1 time with paint. In this month Crusade No. 44, we getting messy with paint but no brushes are allowed.

I used to paint with my fingers. However, this month challenge we will using those scraping device like an old credit card.

The following one was experimented with masks and stencils from Tim Holtz

Then, scraped with few layers of paints.

For the second attempt, I freely applied layers of gesso
Then, after its get dry (I used hot gun to expedite the process)
Applied few drops of paint randomly on top of it

Then, scraped it horizontally and vertically.
love the effect ^^

Adding the black paint make the page look more interesting.

A New Page : Prompt Three

All that I Am
what I could summarized what I did from year 1995 (when I graduated from high school (Form 5)) to year 2009.

Autumn's Antics posted on her blog ..
"This week's prompt is an in-depth look into the person that you are. What are the characteristics that make you into the unique person that you are?
Write about yourself and the things that make you special.
List the words used to define yourself.
You won't have enough room on your pages to include ALL that you are, but what attributes create you as a whole?"

Following Your Heart , the origami heart.

Bake and Break

Bought some new clay
Hand rolled the clay into buttons and beads
Thought I had experience in controling the oven.
In fact, (those black-ish ones)..I need to do and do more.

We are taking short break travel back to hometown ~ Taiping and
may plan to have a day 'hop' around Ipoh.

Before ended this post, I would like to include this inspiring link ~ Eat Drink Chic which I sure will revisit again and again.

A New Page : Prompt One

A New Page for a new journal ..
I would love to follow Autumn's Antics on her latest prompt had on her blog here.

Recently, sway in between the role as wife, as mom, daytime profession and part-time crafter/art-journaler.
Doing somethings that I love to do and somethings are not.

Here are some various thoughts posted by Autumn:
Is there something new in your life right now?
A significant point in life when you turned the page that led you to where you are now?
Are you changing creatively, where are you trying to be?
What words describe these changes? List those on your spread.
How will you achieve the changes you are looking toward? Make yourself a list.
What is your primary focus?

" Life is too short, you will never know what will be happen tomorrow. "

I make this journal a bit different from what I normally did.
There were no covers .... I make used of the page as the cover.
