Tree of Life

I visited Bahrain in Dec' 08.
With the little time that we had, managed to visit the most impressive place in Bahrain , i.e. Tree of Life (400 years old tree in the middle of desert)

The journal page is the inspiration I got when I first touch to the place.

当大家都在啧啧称奇的时侯
没有人记得那埋在泥土中
寻找水源的树根。。。。

This is beautiful. I can't even imagine the feeling of being near this overwhelmingly awesome part of the earth. You are a lucky lady.

Your journal page is so meaningful. You might be very receptive to nature to be able to carry away what you felt in the tree as you did with your art. THAT IS ART!

This quote you posted:
"We do not remember days ...
We remember moments."
is soooo true!!! And each and every moment we do remember are so special (good ones and bad ones) in themselves. They are like what you just pictured in your post here today. Being alive in itself is a miracle.

The picture of your last day in Bahran is SO STUNNING as well! That blue halo around the buildings that are seen in the background is just great!

I love your journal page and the photo of the tree. There is something deeply magical about trees. I have been working on a painting of trees as well. Synchronicity is splendid. :)

I also love your CED "play" Collage. It's do colorful and fun and whimsical :)
