"With this journey, we to think outside of ourself, to think of a friend or family member, or even a beloved pet that may be hurting or suffering in some way. As we work through the steps of this journey we will think about how our friend is suffering and create a page where we acknowledge their needs and send them some healing love."
The steps to the journal page
We been asked to find some cut out which can make as the stencil for the border.
This is what i've find out. A Chinese New Year greeting card with a beautiful cut out.
Cut out a image from magazine and trace them into the page.
Then, painted the image with white acrylic.
Then, placed the image again and masked on yellow acyclic.
My finished page.
Actually I had finished this page some times ago, but did not publish it out.
As I think of the title of the Soul Journal of this week (thanks to Kathryn to come out such wonderful idea of this jounal).

I want to send healing love to my Mother. We just loss out beloved father but for my mom, she loss her whole world. My mom, like most of the Asian ladies (age range 50-60s) that I know, used to be dependent on what her husband told her to be. Her previous world is to serve the only man.
Mom feel so miserable after loss her support column.
But, luckily mom is very brave and willing to relearn, adapt and live to her new life, which we as the children feel happy with her decision.
Thanks to Kathryn a.k.a collage diva for idea and instruction to this lovely journal page.

A really fabulous stencil. Very cool idea. Love your pages!
I found this page great when I first saw it in my e-mail (I get updates daily from most of my favs. blogs) but since I didn't read, I didn't comment. Today I took the time to read... and how true to your style and yet so wonderful your page is! I hope your mom found some inner peace and healing love with it.
